Tips to maintain the skin during winter
Winter can be harsh on your skin, and it may feel as if there is no way out: Outside, the cold, blustery weather leave your skin red and raw, while interior heat zaps moisture from the air and your skin. "The most typical thing during the winter season is damage and weakness of the skin, which can emerge as symptoms of dryness, sensitivity, and a lack of lustrous look."
1. Use a moisturising cleanser
As the temperature drops, so do the humidity, and our skin loses moisture to the dry air around us. Switch to a moisturising cleanse during the winter season to help rehydrate dry skin and strengthen the skin's barrier to help prevent the skin from the damaging effects of the cold weather. This also aids in the removal of dead skin cells without leaving the skin tight or dry.
2. Use sunscreen as a skincare shield
The biggest error you can make is not applying SPF throughout the winter season. UV rays can harm our skin at any time of year. For lightness, breathability, ocean friendliness, and ease of use, utilise a mineral based SPF.
3. Apply a mask to protect your skin
During the winter, high humidity and cold temperatures can create a variety of skin disorders. Always use a mask that contains clay and seaweed extract, which can help pull out impurities, calm spots, and exfoliate your face.
4. Apply lip and eye moisturiser
Take care of your lips and the area around your eyes by applying the moisturiser regularly.
